Hurricane Idalia Updates
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order 23-171 declaring a state of emergency in 33 Florida counties, including Pasco County.

To report emergencies such as downed trees on City streets or issues with water service, contact Public Works at 352-279-0489.
The City of San Antonio is resuming normal operations as of noon on Wednesday. Park facilities will be reopened on Thursday, and City Hall is open for normal business hours. City of San Antonio Public Works continues clean up of minor debris from roadways throughout the City.
Access to Magnolia Street between Pasco Road and 7th Avenue is limited due to debris.
Waste Connections will not be picking up residential recycling on Wednesday. Recycling will be picked up next week on Wednesday, September 6.
Pasco County School District will be closing schools on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Pasco-Hernando State College's in-person and remote classes after 5:00 PM on Monday will be cancelled until Thursday.
Pasco County offices will close at 12:00 PM on Tuesday and remain closed on Wednesday.
Rescue, recovery and clean-up operations are underway in Pasco County as Hurricane Idalia slowly moves out of our area. Here are the latest updates from Pasco County Government:
Emergency crews are responding to 911 calls and performing water rescues.
All East Pasco shelters are closed. The following West Pasco shelters remain open:
Pasco County Government Offices are closed today and will reopen Thursday, Aug. 31.
Animal Services will reopen Friday, September 1.
GoPasco County Public Transportation services will resume Thursday, Aug. 31, as road conditions allow. Rides will be free all day Thursday, and regular fares will resume Friday.
Public Works crews are clearing debris from roadways.
Drivers – please treat intersections without working traffic lights as a four-way stop.
Damage assessment teams are performing countywide inspections.
Most private haulers will resume trash collection on passable streets Thursday, Aug. 30. Place bins out on regular collection day.
