DEBRIS REMOVAL - UPDATE AS OF 11/6/2024

UPDATE: November 6, 2024

Philips & Jordan shared on November 6th that the first round of debris removal was completed in the City of San Antonio on Friday, November 1st.

The contractor will be back in several weeks for a final run through the whole city to give residents ample time to move the rest of the debris to the right-of-way.

-

The City has entered an agreement with Pasco County contractor Philips & Jordan to pick up debris in San Antonio.

The contractor will begin picking up in San Antonio streets on October 25th.

Residents are advised to place their yard debris in front of their property near the street for easy pick-up access.

Please refrain from placing yard debris in the following locations:

  • In ditches; this can cause blockages that prevent proper drainage

  • Near intersections; this can obstruct the view of drivers and pedestrians

  • On top of water meter boxes; this can prevent access for maintenance and emergency services
