City Welcomes JD Parker & Sons as New Trash Collection Provider - STARTING NOVEMBER 1

Trash collection will start November 1.

Recycling collection will start November 8.



The City Commission unanimously voted on October 21st to award the bid for Residential & Commercial Solid Waste and Yard Waste Transportation & Disposal Services to Waste Pro of Florida dba. JD Parker and Sons. The City is working with the previous contractor, Waste Connections, and new contractor to create a transition plan. Updates will be posted to the website as soon as available!


Waste Connections advised that they will bill through October 31st.

Customers who paid in advance will be refunded.


Below are the new rates which will be implemented upon the start of the contract with Waste Pro/JD Parker & Sons:

**Yard Waste curbside collection included in Solid Waste Monthly Cost at no additional charge. Size restrictions will apply.

***Roll Off container will be stationed at City Hall for yard waste and emptied once a month at no cost to the City, if still required (see note above).

****Two containers (up to six yards) serviced twice a week for municipal solid waste at the City Hall will be provided at no cost to the City.
